Commercial Insurance Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering strong client outcomes.
This role is more than a service position. You’ll be a trusted advisor, working alongside producers, carriers, and clients to deliver risk solutions, including exposure to complex and surplus & excess (E&S) placements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients with a focus on retention, relationship building, and long-term value.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day service with precision and ownership.
- Partner with producers and carriers to market, negotiate, and place both standard and E&S business.
- Identify coverage gaps, exposures, and opportunities to better protect clients.
- Provide consultative guidance aligned with clients’ evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the HawkSoft agency management system.
- Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial insurance account management or similar role
- Knowledge of commercial lines coverages (GL, Property, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)
- Experience or exposure to surplus & excess (E&S) markets preferred
- Familiarity with HawkSoft (or similar agency management systems)
- Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain)

Personal Insurance Account Manager

About the Role:
At iTrust Insurance, our Personal Lines Account Managers act as trusted advisors, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence. You’ll work directly with individuals and families to help them understand their coverage, close gaps, and make confident decisions over time.
This role blends client service + relationship management + inbound sales. You’ll manage an existing book of business while also converting new opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients with a focus on retention and relationship growth.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day service with accuracy and ownership.
- Review policies and proactively identify coverage gaps and opportunities.
- Advise clients on home, auto, umbrella, and related coverages.
- Respond to and convert inbound new business opportunities.
- Provide clear, proactive communication that builds trust.
- Maintain accurate documentation in HawkSoft (or similar management system).
- Collaborate with team members and carrier partners to support client needs.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
Success in this role isn’t just activity—it’s measurable impact. You’ll be evaluated on:
- Retention: Strong client retention through proactive service and relationship management.
- Coverage Conversations: Consistently reviewing accounts and educating clients on gaps and options.
- Remarketing Activity: Identifying and remarketing accounts when appropriate to improve coverage or pricing.
- Cross-Sell Opportunities: Expanding client relationships by identifying additional needs.
- Client Experience: Positive client feedback driven by service quality.
- File Integrity: Clean, accurate, and well-documented accounts in the system.
The goal is simple: take care of the client in front of you, anticipate what’s next, and create long-term value.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in personal lines insurance (account management or similar role preferred)
- Strong understanding of home, auto, and umbrella coverages
- Ability to communicate coverage clearly and confidently
- Comfortable balancing service work and sales conversations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable
- Team-first mindset with a positive, growth-oriented attitude
- Coachable and adaptable
Bonus if you have:
- Experience quoting and closing new business
- Familiarity with HawkSoft or similar systems
- Active P&C insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
- Active life license
